Converting Web Visitors to Customers

You only have a few seconds to gain the attention of the user. Often times our websites over promise and under deliver when it comes to SEO tactics and what is actually found on our page. In order to convert web visitors into customers, the first thing we have to make sure is that our website is grabbing their attention. If you have a website that is a sub-par, DIY template website, then chances are you are not going to convert visitors into leads.
Yes they might find your website, but if they feel that your site looks dated, or unprofessional, they will hit that “back” button in their browser as fast as you can click and find your competitor who has a aesthetically appealing website that grabs their attention right away.

Websites that grab the users attention result in that visitor staying a bit longer and possibly even taking them to another page to view content. If they are impressed with your content, they will eventually convert.

In some cases less is more. Take a look at these examples:

Which website do you feel is more effective? Although I appreciate Yahoo’s homepage because of the variety of things listed, it may be difficult for users to really find what they want, while Google succeeds here by focusing its service on the search bar, making it super easy for the user to understand why there are there and find what they need within a millisecond of viewing.

Clean, to the point, well produced designs don’t need to become budget busters. We offer affordable solutions for small business owners or organizations that need that catchy website, but don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on marketing. Rather than having a relative do your website or purchasing a subscription to a tacky template, why not invest in your marketing dollars by having a professional handle the website side of things for you? Converting even a few visitors to from your website will result in a substantial return on your investment that will payoff in the long run for your business.
